STEAM Competition

The São Paulo International Schools STEAM Competition is a dynamic and collaborative event that brings together upper secondary students from international and bilingual schools across São Paulo to present innovative projects that integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). The competition is designed to inspire students to apply interdisciplinary thinking to real-world challenges through creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication.

Now in its 3rd edition, the competition was founded and is led by Claire Phillips, an experienced international educator and the director of Silver Lining Educational Solutions. Additionally, the competition is sponsored by Instituto de Tecnologia e Liderança (Inteli).

See below for a quick video showcasing some of the projects from our first edition of the competition 👇👇👇

Our collaboration with Inteli includes:

  • Location: Inteli will host our competition on their prestigious Inteli University campus, providing an inspiring setting conducive to academic excellence and innovation.

  • Prizes: Inteli is generously offering to provide prizes for the winning teams, fostering a culture of achievement and acknowledging outstanding contributions to the STEAM disciplines.

  • Keynote Speakers: As part of our partnership, a keynote speech will be delivered by one of the university's professors.

  • Tour: After the presentations, Inteli University engineering students will take the competition participants on a tour of the campus and will have the opportunity to discuss with students their own groundbreaking work in the STEAM field. These students serve as role models, inspiring our participants and illustrating the real-world impact of STEAM education.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Inteli for their generous support and invaluable contribution to the success of our competition. [Click here to learn more about Inteli]
